• The Rise and Fail of Occupy Toronto …….. a small update

Meow everyone. A few days ago, some of you will recall reading an article i wrote about some of the key players within the Occupy Toronto Movement. One person i wrote about at some length was Trey Winney . i postulated that he drank the Kool Aid and went back fro seconds . It appears that I was right, sadly. Here is a recent article he wrote ( he wrote this back on or about January 21 , 2013 :

    ” …

    I am Hellbent on Revolution.

by Trey Winney on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 4:54pm ·

    I am Hellbent on Revolution.

Let me say that again so that I am abundantly clear: I am Hellbent on Revolution.

I fight for this so that your grandchildren can have grandchildren,In the direction things are going, they won’t be able toOr if they do, they will be born malformed and malaiseUnable to bear sons, concentrated mutagenicsThe irreparable damage to our DNA; our legacy

May you raise your children, love your familySee them grow up and have a family of their ownFor many of us will not, so that you canWe are all one people, and we will live onThrough each others children

    I am Hellbent on Revolution

I strive for a world where the health care professionSeeks to cure the dyingAnd ease the pain of the sufferingThat companies no longer seek to make profit from the sickAnd work to make them sicker

That the cold words “money” or “insurance”Never escape the mouths of the healers yet to be bornAnd are never used to console the bereaved or the wounded

    I am Hellbent on Revolution

I read the labels in the grocery storesHighFructoseGlucoseCornSyrup! HighFructoseGlucoseCornSyrup!Dextrose, Modified Corn Syrup, Glucose-FructoseWhich will kill youMake your young sickGive them cancerand Die-abities.

I yearn for delicious food that is cleanFree of toxins and chemicals which cause diseaseFree of terminator seed technology™, BT™ and Roundup™Causing the enslavement, debt and suicide of farmersWho toil to feed and clothe us

A world that is free so that everyoneCan grow food for their families and communitiesAnd not be labeled criminals for it

    I am Hellbent on Revolution

I seek a world of clean waterWhere everyone and everything can drink their fillOf the blue liquid of our Sacred Mother Earth

Where if one person didn’t have enough waterOr it was too dirty, tainted or pollutedThe world would focus it’s attention to discerning what caused itAnd do everything in their power to make it right.

    I am Hellbent on Revolution

I think of a place where ideas are freeThat we realize each of our ideas are built on each others thoughtsInterwoven mesh of brilliance, of ideas, creativity and contemplationEach person working to help the nextEgo long dead, long gone

Individuals working to protect our Sacred HomeworldIts inhabitants, each otherWith love, curiosity and respectRegardless of where we came from, sexuality, ability or genderWe are all capable of loveLet that unite us

    I am Hellbent on Revolution

I demand peaceful, clean technologyThat all technology be used to ease the suffering of all sentient lifeThat mass killing machines, BloodOil and BloodMinerals be a thing of historyRemembered and never repeated

That the Oilbeast be slain where liesFor it is the fuel that drives us towards our very doomWith every barrel of Bloodoil raped from the EarthOne step closer to our absolute extinction

It’s heart in Edmonton, where it is pumped across Turtle IslandThrough veins of pipelinesFueling machines of warSailing out to war from the United StatesWhich seek to eradicate those in its wayAnyone not white, not christianHellbent in own rightSeeking OilSeeking BloodSeeking Eternal Night

Its brain from ChinaWhere the greatest social experiment of totalitarianismHas caught the world by whisperNearly inaudible through the Great Firewall of ChinaNow Turtle Island soil sold to China to be sold back to the Colonial GovernmentWho’s land it never was, never will beAlways stealing, always taking more than what is needed

Its eyes in Langley and WashingtonWatching overhead, ever vigilantDeath by drone, invasive evasive invisible ever present assassinSeeking the blood of children in lands far awayTelevised to computer terminals somewhereWith someone behind the controlsWho doesn’t care

Its nose in New York, Toronto, LondonSmelling out where the gold, the oil,The PROFIT, profit so imaginaryExploitation upon exploitationExport the violence; The status quo doesn’t have to knowThe gang rapes, the violence, racism, starvation and deathConsume more, follow your nosePay no attention to these protests!

Its arteries blocked through the mountainsClogging the economic advancementOf a cumbersome war-machineTrying to commit genocide and refute the treatiesWith the people here before colonizationBarely recognizing them as human beingsOnly caring for profit and expansion most psychopathic

In Aamjiwnaang, in the belly of the beast,It’s Liver and Kidneys keep it from dying fast enoughChemical frostfall of air so toxic, flammable water, poisoned earthA sign of things to come for all!Spill after spill, the beast leaksThe more it tears into our HomeworldThe shorter our collective lives become

You see, I am Hellbent on RevolutionAs one day I would like to leave this worldAs we came into itIntact, peaceful and lush with life

To be able to look back on our blue pearl and call it homeAnd to rejoice in its wonders from where ever we roam.Free to return, not fearing the poison and destruction which we have wroughtNot fleeing a dying planet, killed by a human infestation

This is why I am Hellbent on Revolution. … ”

  • OCAP uses people like disposable objects

Meow everyone. This past Thursday , March 07 , OCAP decided to hold the city hostage again  with their now famous if not predictable yelling, screaming and vale threats .

Image Now on the surface, OCAP would appear to be doing something important such as advocating for those without homes and living in poverty. There is no question that to have even one  person living without a home is one person too many. There are a variety of reasons  as to why some are with out homes . There are some who live with addiction issues, mental health issues, some bad luck but while each persons story is as unique as the individual, the common denominator is that each of these person is with out a home. in a city, a country as wealthy as Canada, honestly shameful . I have worked in homeless shelters for several years and have heard many stories from  many people. Bad luck   and misfortune  will swallow up everyone, equally. it doesn’t care if you are rich, poor, tall short, male or female.

John Clarke is the guy who runs OCAP with a band of merry henchmen. They too come from different walks of life. Now this is not a story about the who’s who at OCAP , rather, it’s about OCAP itself and the utter hypocrisy that have now proven to be the purveyors of. Have a look at this twitter message John Clarke sent out as a means of asking for suport for the protest event mentioned above:

    Image

Here is an image of John Clarke for those who may not know who he is :

    Image

Yes, you read it correctly, he asked for SUPPORT AND  SOLIDARITY . Now, lets look at another person who was there to lend his support and solidarity , Derek Soberal.  Derek Soberal, like him or hate him  has been a fixture in the Toronto protest / activist scene since the G20. He has been  a pain in the ass to many, some going so far as to say that he himself has instigated many of what has happened to him. he was arrested several time over the past two years as a result of his activities.

    Image

Derek is not a bad guy really. He has a big mouth, he loves the attention and love to be in the media. He gets in people faces , drives them crazy , and does not stop. I am not here to proclaim his actions as either good, or bad, I am simply stating him as I know him.

    Image

On the night of march 07, the same night of the above mentioned OCAP protest, once again, several persons were arrested when they disregarded the directions from City of Toronto staff and Toronto Police services to vacate the facility, as the city had lawful authority to execute such a vacate order. many left as directed , since it is only going to reflect poorly if a person is arrested. Getting busted accomplishes nothing. Derek was one of those persons arrested. However, that too is only a small part of this story.

During the occupation of Metro Hall, the end was clearly approaching and everyone knew this. OCAP member and legal person for them, MacDonald Scott went so far as to say that his organization would offer help and / or support  to anyone who was arrested. Here is an image of MacDonald Scott:

    Image

Mr. Scott is no stranger himself to the legal system as he is an immigration consultant  his  with a legal firm ( there will be a story on this at a later date date )  and also does work with No One is Illegal, another one of this cities  ultra radical groups who will resort to using a variety of means as a form of protest.  No One is Illegal were one  of the main leaders , along with OCAP, of the G20 riots  here in Toronto. As an aside note, on the day of this protest in question , he even wore a No One is Illegal t-shirt to the protest event.

Mr. Scotts registration as a accredited Immigration Consultant can be found here at :

    http://www.iccrc-crcic.ca/public/membershiplistFull.cfm?startRow=1&startLetter=S

    Untitled1

Now, recall the twitter message that Clarke sent out asking for support?  Well , it appeared that support is only ONE WAY with these morons, as , when Derek was arrested, he was taken to the  local police station and was not released until, from I understand, around 2:30 am the following morning. HOWEVER, while Derek was sitting in jail , those clowns at OCAP , the very same ones wanting YOUR support, left  after the protest event was over to their nice warm houses, beds and the comforts therein. Derek had NO SUPPORT from them , even though they wanted support. In fact, from what i was made to understand, there was only about four or five other protestors who did wait for Derek outside the station until he was released, none of them with OCAP.

Here is the video of MacDonald Scott tell everyone that he will provide legal help and support  to those arrested  :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYIt-IR7zK0&feature=youtu.be

So, OCAP, you have shown your true colors yet again.  You use people as pawns for your OWN purposes and agendas, and dispose of them  and forget about them once your use  of them has expired. I am wondering just how many of your members are aware of your utter hypocrisy.  Clarke, I address to you directly as you are the leader of OCAP. You sir are a  pathetic coward for leaving a man behind. NO leader worth their salt and reputation would EVER leave a person behind. You come as one, you leave as one, unless you are an OCAP member and them you may come as one, but once done, you’re on your own to fend for yourself when things go south.

I want to be clear here that I am not a fan of the  way Derek conducts himself during these events , and have told him as much, Derek is an adult who makes his own choices and has to live with the consequences of the choices he makes. I like Derek as a person but I do not like or support the way he approaches his brand of activism. However, unlike those with OCAP and other ultra radical fringe groups who simply attack those who ask questions of the way actions are done. Derek is willing to talk, listen and be civil about it when entering into a discussion.  Derek  gets caught up in the moment.

  • The Rise and Fail of Occupy Toronto…. part eight

Meow everyone. With mind control techniques, crack pipes and booze filled occupations, the inevitable  was not far behind, that being the much anticipated and greatly desired ( by the area residents ) eviction of the occupy movement from the park. However, certain stake holders in Occupy Toronto were not  quite done destroying the reputations of legitimate activists just yet. There were still perqs out there they wanted  had a few tasks still to complete. Once again, as before, images used are a combination of my own and material found on line.

Before you read my story here, I very strongly urge you to go here and read this superior article posted here by GenuineWitty. He has a great insight into the way unions work and operate. I will be expanding on this in great detail in upcoming articles  as well,  but for now, read this first:

    https://kitty.protestnerd.com/2013/03/03/how-the-unions-are-using-the-anarchist-thugs-to-muscle-porter-airlines-feat-sid-ryan-tony-depaulo-ken-lewenza/

    The players

If there was ever a clear and transparent view of how a cult works to take over the mind and them the body, Trey Winney is the poster child of this transformation. Trey Winney, like myself , was a marshal, and a good one, his calm demeanor was something I was in awe of actually. He could defuse a situation like no one I have seen do. I got to know  him a little bit and was happy to call him a friend. We got along very well and we sought out each other when we need to talk, or vent, or both. Trey was a guy I had a great deal of respect for. I recall him, like myself, becoming so incensed at the drug use, the violence, the inactions of the facilitators when they were made aware of these things, he went on a hunger strike. I was only too happy to support him, comfort him when he needed and I did my best to ensure he remained healthy. He was always in the park.

    Image

     Image

One day, I noticed that he was away for a few days which for him was highly unusual. Sure enough, I checked his tent and as suspected, he was not there. He was so sick he had to go home for a few days to recover. Something happened. Trey would never use violence on anyone, however when he came back, he was a different person. His attitude was different, his approach was different, Trey was different. I watched him go from a peaceful person to what he is today, a person who is willing to use violence, is aggressive and hostile and as one former occupier told me, his whole life, now, revolves around protesting. He is close friends with Dave Vasey, and while he has every right of course to choose whom he wishes to befriend, I also think his fragile mental state is such that he will be lead into a situation,  he cannot escape from,  as a scapegoat for Vasey. I am not sad in any way that Occupy Toronto is no more. I am, however sad that  a friend  whom I actually liked and cared about, got sucked in  by  a cult. Trey is a good person  making some bad decisions right now but please, don’t write him off as a result of these bad decisions. If he is strong, his heart and will, will lead him back  to the real world. Occupy Toronto was not only destroying whatever potential it had as a movement to make positive change, it was destroying people who truly believed in it. Occupy destroyed whatever hopes people had. Occupy Toronto  used people for the good of only a select few facilitators, who only their own self interests in mind, and treated everyone else as disposable.

Occupy indeed was an “ us vs.  them “  cult,  only,  the “ them”  was everyone who was not part of that close and secret inner circle.  Trey Winney, sadly, fell into the spell and allure of the cult, its leaders and what the cult offered him. Trey, is a good person who must his own way back because right now, he is on the fast track to a prison cell at the rate and direction he is going. Trey is being used and manipulated, yet, the sad part is,  he does not see this, does not recognize this as happening to him. When Trey is ready to return, there will be a friend there waiting for him to welcome him back and help him, as much, or as little as he wishes, to reinvent him back to the person he has the full potential to become.  I don’t leave my friends, I don’t forget them, I give them whatever space they need to find themselves,  and,  I reassure then how good a person they actually are.

Mischa Saunders, Daniel Roth, Sarah Rotz, Lana Goldberg, Laine Newmann, Taylor Flook, Wilsun Tso, Nele Micheals, Kevin Konnyu, Bryan Batty, Sakura Saunders, Dave Vasey, Octavian Cadabeschi. These were the ones in total charge. Everything went through them first and foremost.  They ran the show, or more correctly, they acted  in the capacity of the  front persons  for Occupy Toronto,  as occupy was really run by the unions. While this has not been established as absolute fact, it is widely rumored that CUPE,  who had a huge vested interest in the Occupy Toronto movement, sent in one of their local senior executives, to not only monitor the daily activities of Occupy, but to ensure that Occupy was addressing the union concerns first and foremost, basically making sure union agendas and mandates were the top priority of Occupy Toronto. There was always a senior union official form at least one of  the various unions at the Occupy Toronto encampment, or very near by. This was not random chance ,  but rather, it was  by design.

    Image

Pictured above is Dave Vasey . He will protest cookies if it suites him. He is one of the top professional protestors in  Ontario

    Image

Pictured above is Laine Ziessmann Neumann. She is  a Grad student at Ryerson University and was a low level Occupy leader

    Image

Pictured above is Misha Saunders ( no relation to Sakura Saunders ) Misha WAS the TOP leader of Occupy Toronto.

    Image

Pictured above is Octavian ( last name attached to the file name ) Octavian was a senior leader in Occupy and was the one  in charge of marches and  union protests. Octavia was / is also very closely connected to the OFL and Sid Ryan. This will be shown in an upcoming article soon.

    Image

Pictured above is Daniel Roth. Daniel was the number two person at Occupy Toronto and is a strong anti Israel protestor, now living in Tel-Aviv

    Image

Pictured above is Sarah Rotz. Sarah was the number three top leader at Occupy

    Image

Pictured above is Taylor Flook aka Taylor Chelsea. Taylor identifies as anarchist and is one of the top professional protestors in this country  and like Dave Vasey, is Rukus Society Trained .

    Image

Pictured above is Wilsun Tsu ( far left ) He was in charge of the entire logistics team at Occupy Toronto

    sakura Saunders

Pictured above is Sakura Saunders. She will play the poor helpless little simple girl well, however, her globe trotting gives  her away rather easily. She is one of the top professional protestors in Canada  and runs a anti Barrack Gold protest site .

lana goldbery ( on far left )

Pictured above is Lana Goldberg , ( far left )  AKA Lana Brite. Lana is the partner of Dave Vasey  and is a union organizer with very close ties to the OFL as will be seen in an upcoming article.

The above persons are named as the name of the image file. These people profited from Occupy Toronto, They did it while hiding the facts from YOU. They claimed that Occupy was totally open and transparent, yet, nothing about it was that. Occupy was really Occu-LIE. Occupy was run by the Unions, FOR the unions. These leaders / Facilitators did what the unions wanted them to do and this will be proven in the next series of stories.

There was the anarchist contingent as well, however, and quite surprisingly, the anarchists were some of  best behaved people at the park. On marches of course, it was the usual “ fuck the police “ make the rich pay and the usual pointless slogans we have become accustomed to hearing.  As much as I dislike anarchy as I understand it, and keep in mind that I do not claim to understand anarchy as the anarchists themselves explain it, I was quite surprised to see a different side of the anarchists than what I have seen previously. While there was the usual “ lets just smash shit up contingent “ , what impressed me was the fact that several of these anarchists are actually very well educated. This broke of the first stereotypes I had of anarchists. If I was going to be at the occupation encampment, there was no reason for me not to learn about some of the groups and people who were there as well. I actually worked along side one of the cities best known anarchists, as both of us of acted in the capacity of  marshal. Brandon, if you are reading this, we may not agree on  many things but I did form a considerable respect for you,  as you were  always respectful to me.

    Image

Brandon is now reported to be living in Montreal. He uses Brandon Gray online but is also known as Brandon Gamble, Brandon Gambleu and Brandon Gamblen.

One of the things I learned about anarchy and anarchists was that anarchy itself cannot be stereotyped into one group or type of persons. Anarchists do come from many walks of life. I still do not understand anarchy, but at least,  from  the little exposure I did have with them, I did learn one or two things that were very much in contradiction to what I had envisioned in my mind. NO, there is zero chance of me becoming an anarchist.

There was the hippy contingent as well. The usual flowers in the hair, singing peace songs, playing with hula hoops and in  some  cases, smelling as if they had not had a shower in years. One thing was certain. If occupy Toronto was to succeed, it wasn’t going to succeed with hippies running the show. They were to busy banging drums and smoking pot. It seemed that to them the answers to all issues were , “ meh, bang on the drums and see what happens”. I’m sure twenty years from now, they may want to spend time questioning the logic of banging a drum, while the rest of society was actually solving problems.

Sunni Ellise Rochelle was one person struck me as a bit of an anomaly in that she runs a small street vender stand selling home made jewellery. Funny , however, she claimed to hate  what business  stood for yet she runs one.    She played the hippy card flawlessly, yet she  was one a very few who seemed to be able to fit into side of reason as well. She is very mellow and easy going and even with all that went on in the park, I never once saw her get upset or angry, at least not visibly.

    Image

There was Kevin Konnyu. There were many stories going around that he was some sort of super agent, well , just about everyone was given that title at one time or another at the park.  Kevin is a very skilled photographer in the Toronto  area who has been shooting for about six or seven years if I recall what he said correctly. He has a very good eye for detail and his angles are quite impressive. I don’t agree with his politics,  however,  as an artist, I admire his work. However, Kevin, like Trey Winney seemed to overindulge in the occupy Kool Aid. Like Winney, he went back for seconds. Kevin is well known in the Parkdale area of Toronto and is believed to be in a relationship with another Occupy Toronto low level leader, Nele Michelles  ( sp )  Kevin can often be seen applying his skills  at local roller derby events .

    Image

There was Krystalline Kraus. I would go into detail about the level of stupidity she exhibits on a regular  basis but I would have to use big and intellectual sounding words, something she once asked me to stop using,  because, according to her,  “ that  is  the language of the one percent.”  If someone can explain the meaning of big words to her using crayons, I would appreciate it, so would she.

A tense day and night as Occupy Toronto waits to be evicted

Pictured above is Krystalline Krause. Please don’t  use big and intellectually sounding words around her for if you do, she will ask you to stop and they are clearly the language of the so called 1% . If you question her, she will go into a long winded diatribe using small words ( that match her intellect ) about how oppressive, racist, sexist , homophobic and mysogonistic you are. If you reply with anything ever remotely close to intelligent use of words, she will conclude that you are a British Agent because you speak too articulately . It would also be helpful if someone would teach her the difference between a sacred fire and a Canadian Tire BBQ grill, for   she seems to not know the difference.

I had indicated that Bryan Batty was one of the original Occupy Toronto organizers, and indeed, he was. However, Bryan was quite different  from the rest of the organizers in that he is smart, intelligent, and based on my discussions with him, he has a clarity that many people for senior in years would love to have. It is my firm belief that Bryan was left to be a figure head of occupy, sort of as a media guy because it was he who go things going. However, I am equally convinced that Bryan was forced out by these professional protestors because Bryan had a vision that was true to what occupy was to be premised upon. I think as well, that had Bryan been left to run the show, Occupy would have been vastly different, far better focused, run smoothly, methodically, better organized focused based and goal oriented. Bryan and I did not agree on everything but were both smart enough to know when to agree to disagree, move forward and get things done. Bryan is a guy I had a lot of respect for, still do.

    Image

Occupy Toronto was an anomaly and a great set of contradictions. Occupy Toronto claimed to ensure a safe space policy yet, went out of its way to make certain people feel as unwelcome and unsafe as possible. Occupy Toronto claimed to greatly oppose the so called appropriation of certain cultures, yet went out of the way to ensure that things like yoga and meditation was a huge part of Occupy. Of course, both of those come from  eastern cultures. It seemed as if it was just fine to use the cultures of some for exploitation, yet other cultures are seemingly,  so called,  untouchable. It was really just a flavor of the month when it came to what was to be exploited and what was to be left alone. The leaders  / facilitators were the sole entity that was to decide what  was to be followed and what was to remain as untouched.  Democracy at its finest, just like every other communist country leader they worship and aspire to be.

Occupy Toronto failed at even the most basic task of sticking to its own ideals, simply because, Occupy Toronto had no concept of what works, and how, nor did they want to know what works , and how. How could it know, look who was running it and one soon sees why failure was synonymous  with Occupy Toronto. The failure of Occupy Toronto  was etched in stone long before it got started, but rather than walk away with something, anything, the leaders / facilitators wanted to bleed the movement out of every possible microbe of life it could, and for the personal gain of only  a  very select few. To get the answers to what was gained, and by whom, simple, follow the money.

Over the next few days Occupy Toronto teetered at the  brink of death only to meet its inevitable  fate after 40 days. However, while Occupy Toronto may have finally died,  in its then current incarnation,  it  transformed into the very monster it claimed to oppose. These leaders, facilitators where not quite done with mind control just yet. In a strange sort of way, Occupy Toronto did something that I, as a marshal was not able to accomplish. St. James park was home to just about every scum bag drug dealer in the city. You wanted drugs, it was there. Violence was part and parcel to the park.

What Occupy did accomplish was a clean up of the park, including a complete make over complete with increased police presence such that it is now a safe park to go to, the drug dealers have gone, the violence is greatly reduced, the homeless no longer sleep there, or certainly not in any significant numbers and the area residents can once again enjoy a park that has considerable history  attached to it. People can walk their dogs again, play with their kids and be glad to know that they are not likely to find syringes  and crack pipes littering the park as it did before. No, Occupy didn’t clean the park, the city did. Occupy was so unwelcome and unwanted, a reputation it deserved,  that the city and residents worked together to get the park cleaned up and make the park an unwelcome place to anyone even remotely linked to Occupy. While Occupy left the park, it also left many unanswered questions that many wanted some serious answers to. The research, the digging, the exposing was about to get into high gear.  Time to get some answers, a lot of people wanted answers. There was no shortage of questions, just too few answers and seemingly, very few of them being provided by the leaders / facilitators,   if any,  as being true.

With everything that took place at the park, one question resonated with the vast majority of those who were at the park, were the finances. This was a deeply hidden secret, a secret in an organization that claimed to be fully open and transparent. In the next section, I will address the subject of the Occupy Toronto finances and will offer my opinion as to what really happened to the money.

Over the next few upcoming articles , I will be making some very direct connections between the  leaders / facilitators of Occupy Toronto and the unions, something they claim was utterly false and never existed. Too bad that i have the images  from events that prove otherwise. Also, as a student, you are going to want to start paying very close attention here as there will be a revelation or two that will be of interest to you as well. your student union leaders are not exactly working for YOU . Stay tuned ………..

  • A must read on Unions and how they use anarchists for thier own purposes

Meow everyone. In my series on Occupy Toronto , i am getting close to posting the sections about the unions and where the money has gone, from my point of view. However, before I post the story, y’ all REALLY NEED to read this superior piece  by GenuineWitty  on unions and how they use anarchists  as muscle . Read it as this ties in perfectly with what i am working on:

    https://kitty.protestnerd.com/2013/03/03/how-the-unions-are-using-the-anarchist-thugs-to-muscle-porter-airlines-feat-sid-ryan-tony-depaulo-ken-lewenza/

  • More Montreal student union stupidity

Meow everyone, you will all remember that last year, student sin  Montreal went on strike to protest an increase in tuition fees. it was well covered and documented, however, for those who missed it, here is a quick overview.

Some students learned the old salute used many decades ago Image

Some saw news of students smashing windows. Oh those poor misunderstood anarchists. They were really studying impact dynamics.

One person who was at the forefront of al this was a guy named Ethan Cox

    Image

    Image

Poor Ethan. it appears that he is missing far too many classes these days and important classes as well. For example, here is something he sent out on his twitter feed recently :

    Image

Ethan, listen up dude, there will an exam on this and this will be one of the questions. Dude, throwing snowballs and small objects at cops is actually a federal offense , called assaulting a police officer. You go to federal prison.  for stuff like that . Imagine having to end up in Kingston Pen for a few years. Well, you’re a nice looking young man, I’m sure you will make many new  ” friends ” .

Ethan then sends of this wonderful message . [pay close attention to the attached link to the image he sends with it as shown here :

    Image

    Image

Dude, this looks more like a bunch of cops around a postal service truck than those vicious cops who you claim are attacking peaceful protestors, you now, the same same ones who are throwing snowballs and other small objects at the cops. Dang Ethan , you really need to catch up on your readings here.

Now, before everyone gets all over this dude, give him ma bit of a break as he does write for RABBLE.CA, and well know that facts and intellectual content are not priorities  to write for them.

  • Innocent , Unsuspecting Students Being Used as Pawns

Innocent Students Being Used as Unsuspecting Pawns

Meow everyone, this story is one that every single student who attends university needs to know about, because, it affects YOU, whether you like it or not, whether you know it or not. Yes, yes, tuition fees are high, the food in the cafeteria sucks and costs ten time what it should, text books are now equal to mortgage payments. Yes these are all important  issues and I  will address those  in another story down the road. Today, I do, however, wish to address a topic that can very literally effect your safety at your school.

If you attend a school that has a student union that is affiliated with the Canadian Federation of Students ( CFS ), you already, by default, whether you like it or not, are being forced into a political affiliation with groups whose actions are often questionable and possibly even dangerous, and your student union is putting you into that danger. CFS affiliated student unions are usually highly radical and far too often, have a significant anarchist component to them. This anarchist affiliation may be by extension through student groups and / or events run by the student union with invited groups being participants. The Ryerson Student Union is one great example of this , as they have not only a student group dedicated to anarchy being run  by Elyse Moya, but they also have student group events where they openly invite the worst of the worst groups such as OCAP, Fight Back , the International Socialists as participants.  It is not uncommon to have some of the top level anarchists show up to these events.

On a recent event , there was a panel discussion about what was touted as women’s issues. However, the headline guest speaker was a person named Harhsa Walia. Walia is a well know anarchist from BC whose racist rants are  sadly, far too well documented. In her speech at Ryerson, she proclaimed that the ”  sole purpose of white males was to oppress none white females. ”   Walia is also a significant  black bloc anarchist and had a role to play at the G20 here in Toronto a few years back.

The University of Toronto Student Union is no different. That student union is very closely connect to the anarchist movement and has a long history of supporting anarchy .

    Image

The University of Toronto Graduate Student Union  was in the center of a huge controversy during the G20 when they housed about seventy black bloc anarchists from Montreal . Those anarchists where arrested in a raid and to the best of my understanding, the charges were later either stayed, or dropped outright. However, there were a few problems with the UTGSU and their involvement in that the person who was in charge of this, Daniel Vandervoort claimed that he was on site the entire time . In fact, he was not at all on site the entire as he was a key participant in the G20 protests on the corner of King and bay the day the cars were set on fire.

Pictured below is Daniel Vandervoort ( top image he is  at far right wearing hat )

    ImageImageImage

Vadervoort of a devout CFS follower. The CFS was well represented at that same post during the G20  as seen in the image just above.

Another key figure during that same G20 and in fact, at that same spot was a well know anarchist by the name of Kelly Rose Phlug-Back .

Kelly again thinking her mask can hide her ( silly girl )

    Image

She was one of the person who was later arrested, tried and convicted for her crimes.  Recently, she was released fro prison   and is now on a speaking tour about her experiences as a so called political prisoner. More on this in a moment.

    Image

    Image

Kelly, its like this. Tens of thousands of law abiding persons managed to protest peacefully during the G20. They all had messages they wished to convey and did so in accordance with the laws , dong it in a civil manner. You and  200  of your knuckle dragging neanderthals felt that somehow you were exempt from participating in a lawful, peaceful protest. You  are the architect of your own demise, you caused these actions to be taken against you by YOUR actions.  Its about time you faced up to that and accept responsibility for your actions instead of blaming everyone else. Your just an angry young lady who is pissed of because you got caught, tried and convicted, Get over it, that’s what happened to criminals

George Horton, another  convicted G20 criminal will also be speaking here at the same event . This is the guy who attacked e police car with the Sgt. still inside on Queen Street.  This guy didn’t even want to admit that there was a human being inside this car he was attacking, rather the Sgt. in the car was simply part of the state. George, your one sick puppy if you cannot  identify a human life as something you about to assault.  This cop had a family too but in your  fucked up head, its perfectly fine to assault this person because you don’t like what he does for a living?   The story can be read here at :

    Image

I indicated that U of T GSU has a history of anarchism. Prior to the G20 another high profile person from the  U of T student Union, Angela Regnier was arrested during a major blockade of a local highway here in Toronto. Ms. Regnier was also the director of Outreach and Communication for the U of T student Union  and , surprise, surprise, was vice chair of the CFS national executive.  Are you seeing a pattern here yet?

    Image

    Image

    Image

OK, lets move ahead to the event I am referring to. There is an enormous problem with having convicted criminals  who knowing , willing and with premeditation, held this city hostage with acts of what is, in my opinion, nothing more that urban terrorism, plain and simple. Then, she has the audacity  to refer to herself as a political prisoner. Well, Kelly, I think that you have had a little too much schnapps for one day and it effected you because, here in Canada, we don’t have political prisoners. The people who are in jail, are people like you, criminals who have committed crimes, got caught,  went through the court system, received a fair and impartial trial, was found guilty, and sentence was pronounced. Maybe, if you would have spent a little more time in the library reading books, you might have learned that you are not in North Korea, or the former Soviet Union where they DO have political prisoners. No Kelly, you are a common thug, a convicted criminal, nothing more.

So, why are the students in danger then? The students are in danger because an event like this will no doubt draw a number of  other  anarchists  as a show of support.  Unsuspecting students who attend this event thinking this is a genuine event to showcase women’s issues will soon learn that this is nothing more than more hate filled rhetoric against an establishment that a certain group of people simply don’t like and don’t wish to play by the rules established.  They have already proven this time and time again.

Students, especially first year students are at the greatest risk here. For many, this is likely the first time they are away from home, the first time they have true freedom to do what they want. They are highly vulnerable, highly impressionable and highly susceptible to  suggestion. These new students want to belong and feel like they do belong. Groups and events like this certainly will attract them and before they know it, they have been indoctrinated  to a life of anarchy, a life of crime and before they know, they are in way over their heads.

Before anyone starts to jump at my throat, yes, I am fully aware that we have the freedom to say what we want, the freedom to hang out with whomever we want and so forth. However, with freedoms comes a huge responsibility. That responsibility is that we need to ensure that our actions do not cause harm to others. Ms. Back, by her actions caused significant harm to others in the way of  property damage. The tax payers of this city bought that police car she decided to destroy, and to replace it, taxes  have to be raised. She destroyed other private property  that directly effected the lively hood of independent businesses  whose insurance rates went up as a result of the damages caused. That means your insurance rates went up as did  mine. Her conduct effected the very people who can least afford to take that financial hit, you and I.

I might feel differently about her of she would have shown even a slight hint of remorse for her conduct and actions, but as with all the others who were sent to prison for their crimes during this same G20,  like the cowards she and the rest of her cohorts are, she instead, put the blame on everyone else. Kelly, YOU swung the sticks, YOU broke the windows, YOU got caught. People like her don’t deserve our support and sure as hell don’t deserve to be held up as some sort of hero. Hero’s do the right thing and help people, not ruin their lives.

  • Stories being worked for publication soon

Meow everyone. it has been a busy week here in Toronto this past week as well as in some other places of interest to me. I will be adding several new stories over this coming weekend that should be of considerable interest to everyone.

A story from Montreal i will be addressing is the new and revised Student Protests, and poorly and inaccurately  they are being  covered on social media by radical left wing groups and people within them.

Another story i will be addressing is an event that will be held shortly at the University of Toronto graduate Students Union facility. This should be a serious concern to students as this event will be hosting not one but two convicted criminals from the G20. You won’t want to miss this .

That last story I will cover this weekend will actually be the continuation of my Occupy Toronto story . I have made numerous  references to certain persons so this article will put faces to these names. This is an ongoing story and the juicy stuff is just now going to start to come out.

Have a great weekend everyone. Meow …..

  • More RSU election quackary

Meow everyone. I recently wrote about the student union elections here at Ryerson university with respects to the troubling, yet obvious conflicts of interest that is part and parcel of these elections. It is no secret that i hate the CFS , want the CFS to leave this solar system and get sucked into some black hole in space.

The CFS seems to like to ensure that they always have the upper hand in the outcome of student union elections and as such, election interference is also part and parcel of this approach.

ImageAnother very huge problem is that the certain student unions seem to think that students are oblivious to what is going on. Yes, while most students are not as concerned as they should be, many indeed are very concerned. I mentioned that the CFS has interests in how student union elections unfold. Well, if this is not a conflict of interest, I don’t know what is :

    Image

On a related note, the same Eric Newstadt is now the General Manager of the Ryerson Student Campus Center . The CFS has a way of placing their loyal minions into either key positions  and afterwards, make sure that have these wonderful gigs for as long as they wish, as a thank you. Oh yes, as a thank you to Newstadt, it is reported that his salary is $75K  a year for this gig.  I will writing a very detailed article about him soon.

    (This is major story two)

MAJOR UPDATE:  LAST WEEK THE NATIONAL GRADUATE CAUCUS ELECTED A NEW EXECUTIVE – Mr. Newstadt is therefore no longer a CFS Executive, he was however one when hired to CRO at UTSU and RSU.  He was during the part of the election process that occurred prior to the change over at NGC

Much has been recently written about Eric Newstadt.  Eric Newstadt holds an impressive array of positions: President – York University Graduate Students Association where he is listed as VP Finance and Services on the website, and he is the past President of the GSA.  He is also listed as the CFS contact for the York GSA: http://www.cfsontario.ca/french/contact.php.  He is the CRO for the Ryerson Students’ Union and the University of Toronto Students’ Union.  He is also the Chairperson of the National Graduate Caucus of the Canadian Federation of Students.  This last position makes him a serving CFS Executive.

This means that he is clearly in a conflict of interest as the CFS has a major stake in these elections.  The University of Toronto is the breadbasket of the CFS sending nearly a half-million dollars a year.  There are candidates in the UTSU election that are challenging the current slate running the UTSU.  Considering how closely this slate works with the CFS, this raises, at the very least, the appearance of conflict-of-interest.

I have to admit, I am impressed that Mr. Newstadt can do some much in his spare time.

In his current role as Ryerson CRO, he gave demerit points to Engineer Candidates, who running on a Transformers theme, used the term “kick some Decepticon ass.”  The Decepticons, of course, being the enemies of the Autobots.  Newstadt had plenty to say about the use of that line according to an article written in the Ryersonian:

After taping about 30 of the posters around campus, Bakos and Petz were informed by the chief returning officer (CRO), Eric Newstadt, that “Decepticon” could be perceived to mean their competitors are “deceptive con artists” and were asked to remove the posters.

    and

Newstadt took his advice a step further and e-mailed Bakos and Petz to inform them about other downsides of using the cartoon on election posters.
He wrote that the cartoon was marketed only to young boys, was only syndicated in North America and had coded messages intended to describe Russia, the “evil empire” of the Reagan-era.
“I informed them of the possibility that Decepticon could be read in many ways.
“I made it clear that they are allowed to target male engineers (only),” said Newstadt.

The poster can be viewed here: http://www.ryersonline.ca/content_images/feb14sonian/LeftReaganistPropaganda.jpg

I assume that the UTSU elections will be interesting and the CRO will definitely be seen as a factor in the race.  (Of course, every CRO is)

  • The 2013 RSU ” Elections ” are now over.

Meow everyone. Well ,the 2013 Ryerson Student Union ” elections ” are over for another year and in predictable fashion , the International Socialists , eeeer, i mean the RSU slate ” won ” for another year … quell surprise. I will be writing about this in greater detail in the next day or with some numbers to go with this but for now, i just wanted the students to see  some of the same things I saw.

First off , we have an acclaimed candidate who has no business around a polling station not only in close proximity to it, but I have to wonder what sh eis actually doing there to begin  with . Here, in the polling  station in the Image Arts Building, Laine Neumann seems to be really enjoying her conversation…. ON ELECTION DAY :

    Image

Perhaps she was not aware that on election day, she was required to be at least 30 feet from a poling station.

Next, we have a bigger problem. I will ask forgiveness in advance for the less than perfect quality of these next two images but they are clear enough to show the huge problem here.  Why  is this polling stations ballot box NOT SEALED IN FULL with the proper tape ?  ( which is supposed to be the metallic  tape )

    Image

Image There have been rumors for years about ballot stuffing and an unsealed ballot box  certainly leads one to think that this is not out of the question.

Its time for the students at Ryerson University to get off their asses and  and actually VOTE to get this draconian organization out of here.During the time I have spent at Ryerson, on   my seventh year now, the RSU  have done little to nothing for students here but waste OUR money  of bullshit things like  going to CFS conventions which according to Palmero herself  accomplished  absolutely  nothing  a VP of  finance who, in his own words said  he as no idea how banks work, yet he spends YOUR student money.

In the next day or so, I will be updating this story with another image showing a poll clerk  at the same  station totally inattentive at the polling stations an din fact, not even watching it, as well as some election numbers. These numbers should not surprise you . Stay tuned ……..

  • No, I have not disappeared into a huge bag of Catnip

    Meow everyone.

No, I have not vanished into a huge bag of catnip. I am actually covering the currant Ryerson  Student Union elections  that have been going on over the past three days and have some very interesting things I will be sharing shortly. If you are a student at Ryerson, or any other school that is CFS affiliated, you may want to pay close attention. Stay tuned……
